It's all very well discovering a new local food or drink or finding gorgeous jewellery made by someone from Staffordshire, but if you are nosey like me, you want to know the face behind the product! Being a local producer isn't just a state of being, it is about having a story to tell and something to share and I think that is always best done face to face.
So here is "Meet the Producer", a Simply Staffordshire feature giving you the chance to meet those who are making, producing and creating locally. This is your opportunity to find out where they come from, why they do it and even if they have a pet dog!
We will change this feature every month so make sure you keep posted and stick around to meet next months producer!

Bertelin Farmhouse Cheese is produced on Ellenhall Grange Farm, Eccleshall by the Heath Family. The Heath Family have been on the farm for 40 years and now John, Lucy and son Tom produce the award winning cheeses.
Dairy farmers for 59 years, the Heath family have a herd of pedigree Friesians Bertelin cows, named after St Bertelin, the founder of Stafford town in around 700AD.
