Forestside Farm Caravan & Camping
Forestside Farm Campsite is set amongst 156 acres of rolling Staffordshire countryside on an organic dairy farm. The area around includes the wonderful views of the Dove Valley and Weaver Hills, laid back camping is the order of the day here. From the moment you leave the quiet county lane and drive down to the farm track to check in at the farmhouse, you know you are in for a something a bit special.
There are hard standings for 5 caravans with hook up and a camping paddock for 10 tents, There are also 2 Camping Pods, an insulated wooden structure that provides comfortable accommodation. They both sleep 4/5, have a carpeted area, a timber decking on which to sit or prepare food and lockable french doors. The pods are insulated with the finest Cumbrian sheep wool, have a small window for light and ventilation, lights and electric points and a heater. You have full use of the hot showers, kitchen facilities and toilets.
The site has a CWT unit, together with toilets and complimentary showers. There are 2 ladies toilets/shower rooms and 2 for the gents. There are also kitchen facilities including microwave, freezer, washing up facilities, kettle and toaster.
Course fishing is available and well behaved dogs are welcome.
The nearby village of Marchington has a shop and butchers as well as good local country pubs and eating places to suit all tastes. There are many places to visit locally including Cannock Chase, Alton Towers, Sudbury Hall and Shugborough Hall, all splendid places to visit.
For a totally rural break that will leave you relaxed, you could not ask for a better location.

Foxtwood Cottages are a group of 7 cottages sleeping between 2 - 32 and are to found in the Churnet Valley, part of the beautiful Staffordshire Peak District. This luscious landscape is just waiting to be explored. With a labyrinth of footpaths criss-crossing the valley, through meadows and woodlands, you can then enjoy a pub lunch or afternoon tea at some stunning locations.

The Stable at the Hazelhurst Cottage
The Stable at Hazelhurst Cottage is nestled at the foot of beautiful Staffordshire woods and looks over the Caldon Canal. Set in an idyllic spot, it is the ideal place to really unwind and relax. This fully equiped, self catering cottage for 2 (+1 and a cot) has been converted from the old boat house and is cosy, warm and peaceful. Denford is on the edge of the Peak District, just outside Leek. You can enjoy walks through the woods (marked out by the owners), walks along the canal to the pub or simply drinks on the patio overlooking the canal and countryside. Short breaks are available and you can enjoy a discount on Joshua (the owners day hire narrow boat). Please note the Google map takes you to the pub, but you can see the cottage in front of Hazelhurst Wood and call Alison for directions.
Joshua is a 35ft day hire narrow boat for up to 10 people to enjoy a self drive day out. Full tuition is given and the boat is fully equiped - all from just £100.

Beechenhill Farm
Swallows skimming, cattle lowing, scent of homemade organic bread and a welcome chalk board greet you at our organic farm in the Peak District National Park. We have lovely ensuite B&B rooms in the traditional ivy-clad farmhouse. At breakfast you are presented with a platter of local goodies, as well as our signature dish - organic porridge with our own hedgerow compotes.
